Carmen’s Angel Fund is very excited to be participating in the Fresno Walk to End Hydrocephalus on Sunday, November 10, 2019. Has been just over a week since we registered for the event. Here is an update on our progress:
We set an initial fundraising goal at $1,500. At this time we have raised $680. This is 45% of our initial goal! Thanks to our generous donors for helping us get off to a great start! We are considering raising this goal in an effort to help raise even more money for the Hydrocephalus Association.
We have one new team member register for our team this week. Long-time friend and brother, Rich Lee, will be walking with us in Fresno. Welcome to the team! Another 3 to 4 people have expresses interest in joining the team. We are hoping to assemble a large group of people at the event.
People who join the team and help raise funds are eligible to earn gifts from the Hydrocephalus Association. Participants who raise $75 or more will be eligible to receive the 2019 HA Walk T-Shirt. Participant who raise $250 or more will be eligible to receive additional recognition gifts from the Hydrocephalus Association. See the Forms at the end of the post for more details.
We encourage everyone who wants to Walk with us in Fresno to register for the event by joining our team. Registration is FREE and simple. Just click this link, Carmen’s Angel Fund, to go to our team page and click on the “Join Team” button in the right column above the team roster. There is no obligation to donate or raise money for this cause, but it would be awesome if you did. There are 3 primary reasons to register for this event:
1. The organizers of the Fresno Walk would like to get as accurate of a head count as possible. They will provide refreshments after the Walk and this way they can ensure they have plenty of stuff.
2. We will be creating a special Carmen’s Angel Fund T-Shirt for this event. We need to know how many we have to order.
3. Publicly show your support for this amazing cause!
